The velocity lets you catch ships trying to turn so you end up with a surprising number of citadels despite the propensity to overpen. If Kii class ships were built they would not resemble what WG gave us. Total WG fantasy land design and "refit". Fairly poor and unreliable main gun dispersion Must be angled to bring more than 4 guns to bear either bow or prow on. Unlike German or French turtleback it still eats citadels at range Torpedo protection is only 25% (Amagi is 43%) Rudder is a bit chunky at nearly 16 seconds Armor is trash with 32mm all over so Yamato/Musashi + HE spammers eat you alive +Sunken citadel with turtleback so fairly resistant to getting blapped +Derp torps with 10km range and good firing arcs Main gun range could be better at 18.1 however can be mitigated a little with spotter planes Has to use HE against bow on 27mm cruisers Shells like to overpen broadside cruisers at close range High citadel so prone to getting blapped if you give full broadside +Fantastic Armor with its 70mm upper belt and 45mm deck and 130mm fore end plate. +Standard turret layout so 6 guns bow on and good firing arcs +Very high shell velocity allowing for more shots at limited windows of opportunity (ship broadsides)
